Summary

The proposal seeks to delete the reverse resolution information of the resources listed for recovery two months after th
eir inclusion on the list in order to draw the attention of the users of such resources and advance the process for thei
r recovery.

This proposal seeks to delete the NS records pointing to the authoritative nameservers of the resources listed for recov
ery two months after their inclusion on the list, to completely remove their reverse resolution and draw the attention o
f the users to whom these resources have been assigned

Rationale (Describe the problem you intend to solve)

Contact with the organization that appears on a resource assignment record is sometimes completely lost. Having no other
way to draw their attention to the blocks, this proposal seeks to delete their reverse resolution information so they
will contact LACNIC or the corresponding NIR.

Sometimes, contact with the organization to which resources have been assigned is completely lost.
Having no other way to draw their attention to the resources and their irregular situation as regards either LACNIC or o
ne of the RIRs, this proposal seeks to delete the NS records pointing to the authoritative nameservers of the resources
listed for recovery. This means that the organizations or users will have a reason to contact LACNIC or the correspondin
g NIR.

Additional information

The reverse resolution information shall be maintained until the recovery process has been completed. Thus, if the organ
ization rectifies its situation with LACNIC or with the corresponding NIR, such information may be restored.

NS records must be maintained until the recovery process has been completed so that they can be restored if the organiza
tion involved contacts LACNIC or the corresponding NIR.
